Engage (ACE) program at John Jay College and Lehman College to support students earn their bachelorette degree in 4 years of less. For over 13 years, ASAP continues to support students by providing an array of academic and financial support services. The financial resource comes in the popular form of an MTA MetroCard. Once a student completes the enrollment process with ASAP, further financial resources begins to strengthen the student’s satisfaction by alleviating the cost of tuition payments for students in receipt of partial financial aid. Textbook assistance and other campus based financial support services make ASAP the perfect pathways for students to pursue their associate degree. ASAP is an academic success program focused on structured pathways for full-time students. To ensure students receive a balance between their city lives, ASAP offers block course schedules, supplemental instruction for developmental education, winter and summer tuition waivers. ASAP supports transcends beyond the financial and alignment of college resources, ASAP also provide students one-on-one personalized advisement, career development, and tutoring.

Community Outreach The ASAP Central Office develops relationships with city agencies, communitybased organizations, and critical university offices such as University Admissions and Communications to support early ASAP awareness among students who may enter one of the nine CUNY colleges offering ASAP. The team leads the development of large-scale marketing campaigns and provides information to prospective students, college access counselors, CUNY offices, and city agencies to foster early engagement. Before students begin the CUNY application process, the community is able to learn about ASAP through the following stages:

University Viewbook Each year, the ASAP Central Office works with University Admissions to cover ASAP in the University Viewbook. This recruitment tool, which provides information on academic offerings and student life across the university system, is available on the Central Admissions website and distributed to prospective students at admissions events throughout the city.

Student Search ASAP works with the University Admissions and Marketing team to identify via College Board Search Lists, students who may attend CUNY, and show interest in ASAP based on PSAT testing data. The College Board Search is an integrated enrollment solution designed to help institutions find students, focus recruitment strategies, and improve marketing return on investment. 2

Counselor Facing: The ASAP Central Office hosts a series of workshops each year for college access professionals. In addition to networking, the workshops allow access staff the opportunity to learn about ASAP, CUNY Start/Math Start, Financial Aid, and general CUNY admissions procedures.

External Stakeholders ASAP outreach includes regular collaboration with city agencies that are central access points to underserved and non-traditional students. Partnerships are primarily designed to offer organizations the opportunity to present critical resources to the populations they serve. Agency partners such as the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) and Human Resources Administration’s (HRA) JobsPlus receive training on the CUNY application and financial aid processes, deliver ASAP messaging.

Outreach Resources New York City Subway System The New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority serves as the hub of many of the ASAP outreach marketing billboards. Our outreach expands throughout the city through Bus, subway, stations, and screen ads.

CUNY Admission and Enrollment Changes Due to current CDC guidelines, the university has enacted changes to student enrollment, and we have been hard at work making sure that your concerns are addressed. Please take a moment to review the following updates:

University Admission Office The University Admission Office continues to review applications submitted by your students. Our timeline for notifying applicants remains the same, and we are here should you or your students need to get in touch with us.

New Applicants to CUNY Students who would like to be considered for the Fall semester, but have not previously applied, should submit the CUNY Application and indicate their choices. Our office will continue reviewing new applications and operate on a rolling admission basis.

Commitment Deposit Dates Please click here to review the Commitment Deposit Dates for our colleges. Many of our colleges have indicated that they are flexible about when the commitment deposit is received and will work with your students after May 1st.

College Exploration Your students can explore our colleges virtually. For information about campus exploration and contact information, continue to visit this page.

Financial Aid Verification The university is developing a process by which students can upload verification documents electronically. The same process will be available for other enrollment functions that have previously required the submission of paper documents. Students who have received verification requests with a specific timeframe can be reassured that we will honor verifications submitted after the indicated timeframe.

Grade Changes Many of your schools are considering changes to grading your students this term. We ask that you share with us any finalized plans, and rest assured that we will take into account the challenges currently impacting your students in preparation for subsequent admission cycles. As a university, we are committed to providing your students with access to a quality education.

Regents Exam Cancellations Seniors who have been admitted to the university will not be negatively impacted by Regents exam cancellations.

CUNY's Future Student Continuity Page We acknowledge how challenging it is to keep track of all admission and enrollment updates at a time when virtually every institution has had to implement dramatic changes to its operations. To that end, we are developing a one-stop-website that will highlight university-wide changes to enrollment functions, including Admissions, Financial Aid, Academic Advisement and Registration, SEEK/CD and ASAP. Stay tuned for more information and a launch date.

ASAP Enrollment Changes ASAP Video A hybrid video was developed to provide ASAP recruitment continuity for CBO, High Schools, and CUNY partnership virtual College Fairs. All ASAP campus recruitment teams are asked to have an organized recruitment plan and tactics in place that allows for ongoing outreach to potentially eligible incoming and continuing students, and students enrolled in CUNY Start and Math Start. Outreach efforts should be multilayered and proactive and include mail, email, social media, phone calls, and class visits

Application/Interest Forms Our recruiting ASAP campuses have enabled online applications/ interest forms to engage with students. Tap below for details:

Virtual ASAP Enrollment ASAP recruiting campuses shifted to various virtual platforms to mirror the recruitment practices across the university.

Hobsons CRM platform QCC, BMCC, Hostos, and Lehman are using to invite incoming students to ASAP information/registration sessions. Qualtrics stores and computer student application forms. QCC also hosts information sessions and registration paperwork through the platform. Blackboard continues to be the sole recruitment platform for LAGCC. This year, CSI decided to use the platform for information sessions. Signupgenius allows MEC and KBCC to RSVP students for information sessions. Zoom is used to host virtual sessions for NYCCT, KBCC, HCC, and BMCC. Formstack serves as an application platform for NYCCT and the commitment agreement for all campuses. 8
