welcome
This year has been a time like no other and challenging to many. However, I am proud of the resilience you have shown and what we’ve accomplished together in the past seven months. If we’ve learned anything from the global pandemic, it’s that health is our greatest asset. Now more than ever, it’s important that we make our health a priority. As the year has already shown us, current circumstances will impact the future of health care. Like other companies of our size, Pitney Bowes is focused on areas that are critical to ensuring easier and affordable access to care while maintaining high quality and cost efficiency such as: • Expanded access to virtual visits for medical and behavioral health care • E arly detection of health issues or chronic conditions through annual preventive care exams and recommended vaccines at no cost to you • C ontinued innovation in complex cancer care with better treatment outcomes and prevention through age- or gender-related cancer screenings • P roviding solutions for families to balance work and home life, including paid parental leave and enhanced benefit options for child and elder care
“If we’ve learned anything from the global pandemic, it’s that health is our greatest asset.” Your well-being is important to us and that’s why we remain committed to providing benefits to help care for your physical, mental and financial health for you and your family. We are pleased to continue to offer you a comprehensive benefits package for 2021 without increasing plan deductibles, coinsurance and out-of-pocket maximum amounts. I’m excited about the continued work we are doing with the Health Transformation Alliance (HTA) in partnering with other organizations to create innovative solutions that help mitigate rising costs. For example, this November, our health partners that offer cancer support services will begin to collaborate with AccessHope to provide an extra layer of support for employees and covered dependents affected by complex and rare cancers. AccessHope is powered by City of Hope, a world-renowned cancer research and treatment center bringing cutting-edge cancer expertise to those in treatment. In addition, we are adding Archimedes, a new prescription drug partner that will bring savings opportunities to those on specialty medications for conditions such as multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis. Review the newsletter to learn more about all the benefits that can help you save money, provide financial security and enhance your overall quality of life. Don’t forget to also visit PBprojectliving.com, your go-to resource for all benefits. As we move forward, I want to remind you how important it is to take extra care of yourself and ask for help when you need it — which we could all use during these times. Remember, we’re in this together. Be well and stay safe,
Johnna G. Torsone Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Benefit updates in response to COVID-19 In this section: Everything you need to know about benefit changes due to COVID-19
The global coronavirus pandemic known as COVID-19 has an impact on benefit plan guidelines and offerings. Take time to review the information, as it provides important plan updates and new guidelines that may affect your benefit decisions for 2021.
COVID-19 screening and testing coverage Cigna and UnitedHealthcare have expanded access to telehealth to help you reduce exposure to COVID-19. Your cost (i.e. copay) for coronavirus-related telehealth visits will be waived through December 31, 2020, when using one of their partners.
PB Medical Clinics now offer virtual visits This service is available to employees at no cost. Visit PBprojectliving.com to see hours of operation and learn how to schedule an appointment with a nurse at one of our clinics.
If you use their telehealth service to be screened for COVID-19 and it is determined you need to be tested, you will be directed to contact your primary care doctor. If you do not have a primary care doctor, contact Cigna 1 855 748 6393 | UnitedHealthcare 1 800 662 1372. If a COVID-19 test is requested by your doctor, all fees for testing and testingrelated services will be waived when you use your Cigna or UnitedHealthcare ID card. Certain CVS or Walgreens locations also provide COVID-19 testing at no cost to you.
Coronavirus will be covered under Critical Illness insurance in 2021 Critical Illness insurance complements your medical plan and can help relieve the financial impact of a serious condition, like COVID-19. When you or a covered dependent is diagnosed with a qualified illness while insured under the policy, you receive a lump-sum payment. Use the payment on anything from out-of-pocket medical expenses like deductibles and coinsurance to daily living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utilities or child care. You have the option of selecting coverage amounts of $10,000, $20,000 or $30,000 with guaranteed acceptance. Spouse/partner and child coverage is also available. You can enroll in this benefit during Open Enrollment. Visit PBprojectliving.com to learn more.
