To turn your tablet on, click and hold the ‘Power/Lock’ button on the top right hand side. You will need to hold the button in for a couple of seconds. Once the landing screen appears, swipe your finger across it to unlock the homescreen. To turn the tablet off, click and hold the ‘Power/Lock’ button again until a menu appears. Select ‘Power Off’ from the list of options. When using your tablet on a daily basis, simply click the ‘Power/Lock’ button once to put it into standby. As well as this, to save battery power, after a certain length of time the tablet will automatically go into standby and lock. This length of time can be checked or altered through 'Settings' on your tablet. To begin using it again, press the ‘Home Button’, and swipe the screen to unlock. The home key will automatically navigate you out of any application you are in, back to the homescreen. Next to the ‘Home Button’ is the ‘Menu Key’. Clicking this will give you access to options and settings. Clicking the ‘Back Key’ at any time will return you to your previous page or screen. The Volume Control is situated just below the power/lock button on the right.
On the opposite side is the SIM card slot for your 3G connection, and
SD Card slot if you need to expand your tablet’s memory.
The headphone jack is on the top of the tablet. The charger port is on the bottom, and it is recommended that you charge your tablet on a daily basis.
