PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Lake Geneva Country Club · PGA First Assistant Golf Professional May 2019 – Present Founded in 1895. Lake Geneva Country Club is located on the south shore of beautiful Geneva Lake in South Eastern Wisconsin. Believed to be the oldest club in the Midwest on its founding site, the original course architect was Robert Foulis. In midsummer the Annual Men’s Golf Invitational is played. The event began in 1898 and is the oldest established consecutive match-play tournament in the United States. • • • • • • • • • • •
Oversaw planning, merchandising, organization, and execution of all member tournaments. Created event protocols for all club events to ensure future organization. Managed bag staff and conducted end of the year reviews for all staff. Provided leadership to the locker room operations and responsible for locker room inventory. Provides insight on market trends, purchasing strategies, and promotions of new products. Directed the junior golf program with fresh ideas and creative activities and skill developments. Responsible for providing communication to all departments. Coordinated 300+ caddie rounds with membership and caddies. Responsible for all financials concerning the caddie program. Mentored and guided caddies through the Evans Scholarship application process. Maintained 30 club golf cars and 20 members private golf cars through an extensive maintenance program.
Pelican Point Golf Club · PGA Head Golf Professional Sept. 2017 – Dec. 2018 Pelican Point is a 27-hole semi-private golf club located between New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Pelican Point provides golfers with championship golf at one of the South’s premier golf facilities and delivers their 300 full golf members plus over 600 associate members a British style golf course with a Louisiana flair. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •
Managed the entire golf operation with annual rounds reaching 40,000. A 10% increase from the previous year. Coordinated 85 Member/Corporate tournaments adding $350,000 gross revenue. Increased Golf Shop sales by 40% in gross sales in the first year. Increased club fittings by 32% utilizing PING and Titleist fitting systems. Managed and created golf shop and golf operation budgets exceeding $900,000. Created and adhered to an open-to-buy program for golf shop merchandise purchases. Oversight of 2 Assistant Golf Professionals and 20 Outside Service team members. Developed a handicap committee to ensure fair play during club events. Coordinated weekly and monthly meetings with various committees and management staff. Developed a junior golf program with over 40 junior golfers and hosted a PGA Junior League team. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE CONTINUED Westmoor Country Club · PGA First Assistant Golf Professional Apr. 2014 – Sept. 2017 A private, member owned club located ten miles from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This full-service club offers swimming, tennis and social functions to its 650 members. It’s 350 golf members enjoy a well-conditioned gem designed in 1925 which supports over 20,000 rounds annually. • • • • • • • • • • • • •
Supervise day-to-day course and golf shop operations. Direct junior golf programming and instruction involving 150+ students. Grew the junior golf program by 130% over three years. Organize and develop 100+ unique member and guest events annually. Oversaw and executed 14 annual Monday outings with field size ranging from 40-180+ golfers. Control tournament preparations and protocols. Refine, coordinate and update golf calendar providing a 15% increase in open member play.
