“Coming together is the beginning, keeping together is progress, and working together is success”. School is not only an infrastructure but it is a practice for future; the things taught in school are not the education but it is the means of education. Being a student of Vagad Pace Global School, I can assuredly say that it i8s the best institution to be in; it is the conference of well-educated guiding lights the teachers, who burn themselves through their hard work to lit up the developing candles; a perfect lead to lead the institution the principal, the other supporting staff who help us through their visible and invisible ways. Undoubtedly, I can say that Vagad Pace`s family is helping me to emerge as a good student with an influential and effective personality. For me being the head boy is not about the position or a little but it is about action and example which can make a difference. It is an honor and privilege for me to be the head boy of the school. I stand here as a leader not just to lead you but to work in collaboration with each one you to achieve the best for our school. I promise to work hard with all my jeal, devotion and determination. I will try my best and work persistently for the excellent of our school. Let us show the world, the strength of unity. Thanking you Push Karaj A. Thorat Head Boy

From the pen oF our little masters ……………. ON THE TOP OF BURJ KHALIFA This Diwali vacation, I got a chance to visit the world`s largest and highest building. Yes, it is indeed Burj Khalifa in Dubai. We cannot imagine its height and area. This building has 160 floors and its height is 828 meters (2716.5 feet) and it covers 460 acres. This amazing and wonderful building was constructed by the skill of 12,000 workers as engineers and labourers from different parts of world. They worked hard for four years. I.e. from 2004 to 2009. Emiratis (the citizens of Dubai) are really proud about this building. On 25th October 2017, I visited Burj Khalifa with my family and relatives. We were very anxious to reach the top. At the entrance there was a mini model of this great architecture, which gave a small description about the building. The elevators are so fast that it can cover many floors quickly. We reached the 124 th floor in a few minutes. The building is covered with transparent glass, through which we can see the buildings below. On looking down, I felt afraid. After sometimes I was excited and happy to see the view below, From the top of the world`s highest building. Small buildings can`t be viewed from there. Inside Burj Khalifa there are many shops and residential flats. We witnessed the sunset from there. It was really wonderful. We also watched the beauty of this building at night; it was fully decorated with beautiful lights. And I strongly believe that this miracle building will be included in the list of the Wonders of the World very soon…… Rhea Anthony, Class – 10 A
Hope Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul, And sings the tune without the words, And never stops at all,
And sweetest in the gale is heard; And sore must be the storm That could abash the little bird That kept so many warm
I have heard it in the chilliest land‚ And on the strangest sea, It asked a crumb of me. Tanmay Bhoir, Class – 8
My Happiness When your happiness Is dependent upon What is happening? Outside of you Constantly you live As a slave to the External situation Treat me with love, dignity, respect and compassion. Now as I am healthy vibrant and alive. Don`t wait to hear that I am sick and dying To love me the way I was meant to be loved. Pranjal Shah – Class – 9 A
The belly and the member ( story) One day the Eyes, Nose, Hands and other members of the Human body decided that they will not sever the belly any longer. The Eyes said, “we don`t want to look for food and water you all the time.” The Nose said, “I don’t want to smell healthy food for any move.” Like the Eyes and Nose, The hands also said, “True! We do not want to cook food for you.”
The Teeth said, “Indeed, we are tired of chewing food to feed you.” All the members of the body said together, “Hear! Hear! We do not want to you.” To this, the belly replied, Do as you please, but you will be in pain later.” The members did not listen to him. As time passed the eyes couldn`t see properly. The nose couldn`t smell correctly. The hands had trouble in moving and the teeth felt dry and weak. Now they realized that serving the belly kept them healthy too. But it was too late now. The body was dying and its members said, “Alas! We are wretched. We should have saved together. Moral – Serving in a Team never goes waste. Harsh kasar , Class - 6

Beauty Beauty is seen In the sunlight, The trees, the birds, Corn growing and people working Or dancing for their harvest.
Beauty is heard In the night, Wind sighing, rain falling, Or a singer chanting Anything in earnest.
Beauty is yourself
Good deeds, happy thoughts That repeat themselves In your dreams, In your work, And even in your rest. Karttavya, class - 6
‘never give up’ King Bruce of Scotland was defeated and wounded in a battle. Somehow, he escaped and took shelter in a cave. He terribly disappointed and upset. Just then he saw a spider hanging by thread from the roof of the cave. The spider was trying to climb to the roof. It would go a little distance; then fall. It would try again and fall again. But each time it seemed to rise a little higher. After six painful attempts it finally succeeded in reaching the roof. King Bruce was amazed. “If such a small creature”, said King Bruce to himself, “Can try so hard, why can’t I?” he took heart from the example of the spider. Later, when he was better, he left the cave and went out to collect his men for another attack on the enemy. Finally, he succeeded in regaining his lost kingdom. Sarang Athavale, Class - 8
‘save the planet earth’ This is a cause of complete concern across the globe today. The global warming has accelerated the rise of temperature on earth which is said to have risen by 40 °C. The sea level is rising. The glaciers are also melting away. There has been very less rainfall in the recent years resulting in the scarcity of food around the world. The death rate due to starvation has increased immensely. We, the human beings are solely responsible for this calamity. We pollute our planet in many ways. Deforestation, industrial pollution and lack of greenery are the chief causes of imbalance in the ecosystem.
The urgent need for the hour is that each one of us takes step to save the planet in every possible way. We should protect our forests, save fuel, plant trees, take care of toxic, pollutant, conserve water and change our lifestyle.
One good turn deserves another Androcles was a slave. Once he ran away from his cruel master. While he was wandering in the forest, he came across a lion near a cave. The lion roared loudly and Androcles was scared. But it made no move to attack him. Androcles went closer and saw that the lion`s paw was bleeding. There was a huge thorn in it. The lion was actually roaring in pain. Androcles felt sorry for the lion. He went near it and gently pulled out the thorn. He tore up a part of his tunic and bandaged the lion`s paw. Then he went away. A few days later, Androcles was caught by his master and sentenced to fight a lion in an arena. On the day of the fight, Androcles was pushed in to the arena. A hungry lion was released in to the arena. It raced towards Androcles, ready to tear him to pieces. But when it came close, it stopped suddenly. Slowly it move towards Androcles and sat quietly. By his feet. Then to the astonishment of the crowd the lion began licking his feet. The lion had recognized Androcles . It was the same lion whom Androcles has been kind to in the forest. The master realized that Androcles was not only brave but also kind. He set him free. Prashik Ubale, Class - 8

The land of Strawberry Finally it happened!! I was off to Mahabaleshwar with my family. This trip was planned in November last year but got cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances...'Har cheez ka apna time hota hai.....', I guess. After juggling of the dates, I finally was able to book our office guest house, though at a price of losing 2 extra weekdays since all weekends were already booked. Sam and Mandy had been there a couple of times, so I took all the inputs from them. This, by the way, was going to be a different experience from them as they are the ‘car- wallahs’, and I was not. Monday, 16th was a difficult day in office as my mind was already roaming around in Mahabaleshwar. I had
booked bus tickets online for the first time, hence was a little apprehensive. Our
Neeta (Volvo) darling came a good half an hour late and as usual we reached much before time at the bus stop. My nephew’s lips hummed only one song...'Amaader bus kokhon aashbe??' (When will our bus come??). He's goes gaga about trains and a/c buses and has his questions ready at all time... "Is this an a/c bus or saada bus, local train or engine train..?.". We bid adieu to my brother and sister-in-law who had come to see us off, while Salman was showing his Dabangiri inside the bus on screen. Our bus reached Mahabaleshwar by 5:00 a.m. but had to spend another good half an hour for the tax collectors to collect tax (20 bucks) from each person in every bus. Getting down at the market, we showed the map to a taxi wallah, and he understood where we were headed. Mawshi at the guest house greeted us at the entrance and it was a relief to hear a ‘yes’ when I asked, "Ha Premji cha bangla aahe ka??". The guest house was a big one, in the middle of the forest, 3 bed rooms, a TV room, a dining room, huge kitchen
and the best part is the patio with its sofas and jhoola. The
garden seemed to be well decorated with flowers of all kinds and is really very well maintained. There's a glass house in front and the servant quarters behind it. It started to drizzle as we stepped inside. The first day, I wanted to take it a little easy, so we ventured only to Venna lake and then to the market ahead to buy some fish. Venna Lake is a beautiful lake like most lakes are. One can horse ride on a flat land near to it...though I feel its boring since you don't trot beside its banks. In the boating facility, row-boats and paddle boats were available. I feel they should put some benches on the banks of the lake so that people can enjoy the calmness of the lake. There is ' Pratap Singh Garden' besides the lake, where you can go for a short walk. Even in May afternoons, a cool breeze rippled throughout the scenery. I wanted to visit the Lingmala waterfalls but our cook suggested us that it won't be worth visiting as there will be no water fall during that time.
IT WAS A JOURNEY FULL OF ZEAL. ADVENTURE AND ENTHUSIASM!
